These terms apply to your use of nikename.com (“Nikename”, “we”), run by the Nikename editorial team. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Nikename is

Nikename is a free, independent tool for styling nicknames with Unicode symbols and letters. Nothing is for sale here: there are no accounts, no top-ups, no paid features and no game services.

Using the tools

• You may use the generators, symbol lists and copy buttons for personal and commercial nicknames, display names, bios and similar uses, free of charge.
• Do not use the site to create names that impersonate real people or brands, harass others, or break the rules of the game or platform where you use them.
• Do not scrape the site in bulk, overload it with automated requests, try to break its security, or republish its pages as your own.
• Each game and app decides which characters it accepts. A style that works in one place may be rejected or shown as empty boxes in another. Some platforms only allow plain letters in usernames but accept symbols in display names. Check the platform’s own rules before changing your name.

Nicknames you share

• When you submit a nickname, or copy one of the generated results, it may be shown publicly in the community list for that name. You confirm that you have the right to share it and that it contains no one’s personal details.
• You keep any rights you have in what you submit, and you give Nikename a free, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to store, display and show it to other visitors on the site.
• We may filter, edit or remove any submission — for example, offensive words, personal data or spam — without notice.

Non-affiliation and trademarks

Nikename is not a game site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game, app, social network or publisher. Game and platform names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe where a nickname can be used. The styles on Nikename are Unicode letters and symbols, not fonts: they are standard characters defined by the Unicode Standard, so they can be copied and pasted as plain text.

Our content

The site design, texts, guides and curated lists are ours. Unicode characters themselves belong to no one, so you are free to copy and use them. Please do not copy our pages wholesale onto another website.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Nikename is provided “as is”, free of charge, without any warranty. We do our best to keep guides accurate, but games and apps change their rules and character support without notice. We are not responsible if a platform rejects, changes or penalises a name you created with our tools, or for any loss arising from use of the site, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms when the site changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the law that applies to the site’s operator, without removing any protection that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
